The country has a territory of 111, 000 square kilometers with a coastline of 378 kilometers. Its capital city, Sofia, is located in the west of the country. It is not only the center of the country’s politics, economy and culture but also the biggest city in Bulgaria.

Government Debt

Government bond (also known as public interest, public bond, national bond and sovereign bond) is the bond owed by a government. By contrast, the annual "government deficit" refers to the difference between government receipts and spending in a single year.Governments create bond by issuing securities, government bonds and bills.

In a monetarily sovereign country (such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia and most other countries, in contrast with eurozone countries), government bond held in the home currency are merely savings accounts held at her central bank. In this way this "bond" has a very different meaning than that of the bond acquired by households who are restricted by their income. Monetarily sovereign governments issue their own currencies and do not need this income to finance spending. In these self-financing nations, government bond is effectively an account of all the money that has been spent but not yet taxed back. Their ability to issue currency means they can always service the interest repayments on these savings accounts. This is why bonds and gilt-edged securities are considered the safest form of investment.

Advantages

Retain control: When you agree to bond financing from a lending institution, the lender has no say in how you manage your company. You make all the decisions. The business relationship ends once you have repaid the loan in full.

Tax advantage: The amount you pay in interest is tax deductible, effectively reducing your net obligation.

Easier planning: You know well in advance exactly how much principal and interest you will pay back each month. This makes it easier to budget and make financial plans.
